Recycling subjects who fail to survive standard questioning procedures
| TMIN13.146/a |
| Section 1: Applicability - This mandate only applies to citizens arrested by a firm licensed by Internal Security (IntSec) and who suffers a fatal episode while receiving Standard Questioning Performance Measures (SQPM). Citizens arrested by non-IntSec licensed firms should ask their supervisor for applicable mandates. If the firm in question went beyond SQPM during the interrogation, please refer to mandate PMIS13.149/c 'Accidental Fatal Episodes In Normal, Definately Not Overly Violent Questioning.' |
| Section 2: Examination of Body - Before any recycling of the body, it must be examined by an IntSec medical specialist rated M3 or higher. Docbots may not be used, but medical professionals from other service groups are very welcome. The medical citizen must examine the body of the arrested citizen and verify the citizen is indeed dead. |
| 2.1: If the citizen is alive, then the interrogation should continue immediately. |
| 2.2: If the citizen is dead, then the medical citizen must complete form IS4990-AA 'Certification of Death, Dismemberment That Will Soon Lead To Death, or Contradiction Of An ULTRAVIOLET Citizen.' The red copy of this form must be placed in the citizen's permanent file, and the gray copy sent to the citizen's service firm supervisor. Proceed to Section 3 of this mandate. |
| 2.3: If the citizen is neither alive nor dead, the medical citizen may be placed under Standard Questioning Performance Measures because he's either incompentent or a smartass. |
Section 3: Recycling - If the arrested citizen has been verified as dead, then the body should be sent to the nearest We Heart Forensics IntSec service firm. This firm must send the body to the nearest Soylent Producers PLC service firm, but only after:
- The body has been examined for cybernetic implants and removed if necessary
- The DNA has been scanned for mutant genes and removed if necessary
- The cause of death has been determined to be a heart attack
- The brain has been removed for further questioning
The firm bringing the body to Forensics must receive a receipt, and this receipt must be included in the monthly We Watch The Watchers firm's Oversight Self-Report.
|
| Section 4: Questions About The Citizen's Whereabouts - If any citizen comes snooping around trying to find where the former-citizen has gone to, IntSec reserves the right to arrest these citizens and place them under Standard Performance Questioning Measures that may lead to using this very mandate all over again. This especially applies to any mixed gender groups of citizens with a large petbot who arrive in a strangely colored vanbot. |
| ULTRAVIOLET Section: GMs might have fun threatening players with IntSec's 'Standard Questioning Performance Measures' since it's vaguely innocent enough to sound frightening. Mission hooks could include carrying bodies from the interrogation centers to the forensic and soylent firms; let's hope the PC's remember to get all those forms and receipts.
