Fuel Cells
When you need a fuel cell or battery replaced, remember to trust the power professionals. Do you want some wrench-wielding, untrained clone replacing your batteries? Of course not! So call us today!

Fuel Rods

A fuel rod is very different from a fuel cell. Do not try to place a D-cell in a D-rod slot in a reactor core, and for the love of FC do not put a D-rod in a D-cell slot in a PDC. Power Services is not responsible for end-user error, so don't come crying to us when you're glowing.

Plugged Into AlphaNet

We have now joined the other service groups in having a netsite on AlphaNet. Here you can find planned power outages, request a wire check, request a reactor upgrade (VIOLET and ULTRAVIOLET only) and request a power outage in your room. Remember, Power Services provides for all your power needs (except for the body's power, which is PLC; except for military power, wich is AF; except for some battery power, which is TS, and why them is anyone's guess).

Screw Your Bulbs Right

You might not think too much about it, but we sure do. Incorrect screwing of light bulbs in sockets is the number one cause of premature bulb outings AND unintended fires. See the bulb on the right? See that gap? That a perfect example of bad screwing.

That's why we ask you to check your bulbs today. Did you screw it nice and tight? Is there any gap between the bulb and the recepticle? Does the bulb feel cold, or at least not as warm as it usually does? This may mean you have incorrectly screwed the bulb into the recepticle.

Proper screwing is the only way to ensure the glow you've come to expect. Take a moment to check that all the bulbs in your work area are screwed correctly. If not, screw them the right way immediately. You'll be glad you did.
