Below are all the links to secret society pages that have been hidden in FriendComputer.net for some time now. Are there other links hidden in the website? Maybe.
These are organized by class. Class A societies are relatively harmless and somewhat tolerated by The Computer. Class B societies are definately illegal and not tolerated at all. Class C societies are even more illegal and will prompt immediate and swift punishment from The Computer.
^ TOPClass A Societies
Romantics - They believe the past was a Golden Age and that Alpha Complex should return to that era's culture and society. Too bad they have no idea what the past was really like. According to them, Jesus Christ died to give us gift cards. Maybe they're not that far off after all.
Sierra Club - A group dedicated to nature seems out of place in a technological underground city of the future. They are out of place, which is why they are always trying to escape to the Outdoors. Unfortunately, they really don't understand how to live in nature.
^ TOPClass B Societies
Anti-Mutant - Hating mutants in PARANOIA is all well and good, but these folks take it a little too far. Their hatred reaches untold heights and includes terminating registered mutants, citizens who they think might be mutants and citizens who might not hate mutants as much as they do. Fanatical is a kind word to describe them.
Mystics - A loosely connected group of drug addicts who believe salvation and enlightenment can be reached through applied medication. As with Anti-Mutants, the surface of this society looks loyal, as The Computer requires citizens to take all kinds of meds. However, The Computer takes a dim view of getting high and tripping hard.
Pro Tech - These science geeks would be ignored if they didn't keep stealing rare, powerful and potentially deadly bits of technology. Think of mad scientists mixed with all those people who hang around comic book and role-playing game stores. Eek. WARNING! The intro to this site can be ... weird.

Communists - The enemy above all other enemies. True, they really don't know what Communism is all about ... and they might confuse Karl Marx with Groucho Marx ... and they tend to use words like People, Glorious, Inevitable and Revolution with wanton abandon ... but if The Computer hates this group so much, then they must be all right. Right?
Psion - One of the truly dangerous societies, these mutants revel in their unusual powers and plan to take over Alpha Complex one day. This upcoming Psionic Age will turn normal humans into slaves for the 'higher evolved.' They're not very fun at parties.
